About Me

Thanks for visiting my website! I’m currently living in Bonn, Germany and working for logistics company Deutsche Post DHL Group.

Within the Internal Communications team, my tasks range from writing articles for our corporate app/intranet and publications to producing creative videos and audio slideshows. After five years, I still enjoy meeting new colleagues and sharing their stories.

Here’s a little background info on me: I grew up in the suburb town of Claremore, Oklahoma, USA. I attended Oklahoma State University – Go Pokes! I graduated in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism. After graduating, I relocated to Iowa (yes, the Field of Dreams) where I began my career as a news producer for ABC9. I gained a wide-range of skills at the TV station. From improving my writing skills, to implementing breaking news into the show.

I wanted to experience a new culture and travel around Europe before jumping into another TV contract. So, I sold all of my furniture and packed up my things in two suitcases. Six years later and it’s safe to say Germany is home. Making the switch to corporate communications was the best decision I have ever made. It’s been a blast learning a new language and producing creative content for my company’s more than 500,000 employees around the globe.
